Airport Consultative Committee
A forum to exchange information between the airport and a wide range of interested parties.
About the ACC
Airport Consultative Committees are a vital interface between airports and the communities they might have an impact upon. Doncaster Sheffield Airport’s ACC is made up of elected representatives and experts in their fields.
Having met for the first time at the start of 2026, the ACC will play a vital role in representing public opinion as the project progresses and the airport becomes operational. It will have the ability to feed back on where the airport is performing well and also hold the airport’s management to account, working in a collaborative fashion to ensure positive outcomes.
A message from ACC chair, Paul McCurry
It is a vital requirement for ACC’s to have a deep understanding of the communities surrounding an airport while maintaining a close yet independent working relationship with the operator. Because our members are drawn from across a range of areas and specialisms, we’re able to act independently and ensure we’re working to get your voice heard.
Doncaster Sheffield Airport's Consultative Committee meets regularly to discuss a range of issues, including progress on the airport’s reopening, environmental considerations, and communications. We’re very keen to hear from communities, groups and individuals that have questions or feedback about the project, and we look forward to helping smooth the path towards an airport that works for everybody.
